The 14 Best Plastic Surgeons in Singapore

Plastic surgery is a specialty recognised by the Ministry of Health, and the doctors accredited in it appear on the Singapore Medical Council's register of specialists. Many aesthetic clinics offer fillers and lasers, but surgery on the eyelids, nose, breasts or body is a different decision, and this guide covers only practices led by plastic surgeons.

For each practice it sets out the surgeons' stated qualifications, their main procedures and the medical centres where they consult and operate, so you can shortlist a few for consultation.

How this guide is ordered

We ranked plastic surgeons in Singapore by each business's specialisation, its reputation, whether its information is complete and where in the city it is.

Some listings get more visibility because the business has paid for a featured service.

  3. Ask where the operation happensCheck whether surgery takes place in a hospital or a licensed day surgery centre, and who gives the anaesthetic.

Frequently asked questions

How much does plastic surgery cost in Singapore?

Costs vary with the procedure and its complexity, the surgeon's fee, the anaesthetist, whether surgery takes place in a hospital or a day surgery centre, implants and any overnight stay. Consultations are usually charged separately. Ask for a written estimate that lists every component before you book.

Can I use MediSave or insurance for plastic surgery?

Cosmetic procedures are not covered. Some medically necessary operations, such as breast reconstruction after mastectomy, breast reduction or ptosis surgery that affects vision, may qualify for MediSave or insurance if they meet set criteria. Ask the clinic to check your case before booking.

What is the difference between a plastic surgeon and an aesthetic doctor?

A plastic surgeon has completed specialist surgical training and is accredited in plastic surgery, while aesthetic doctors are usually general practitioners offering non-surgical treatments such as fillers, lasers and threads under separate guidelines. For eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty or breast augmentation, look for a surgeon on the specialist register.
