The 11 Best Fertility Clinics in Singapore

IVF in Singapore can only be carried out in assisted reproduction centres licensed by the Ministry of Health, and the doctors who treat patients there must be accredited for assisted reproduction. Couples choose between the IVF units of public hospitals, private IVF centres, and private gynaecologists with fertility accreditation who run tests, IUI and IVF cycles with a partner centre.

This guide covers the private options, showing what each clinic offers, who leads it and where it is. The public units at KKH, NUH and SGH are not listed, but they are where government co-funding applies.

How this guide is ordered

How to choose Fertility Clinics in Singapore

  1. Ask where the IVF lab isIf you consult a doctor's practice rather than an IVF centre, ask which licensed centre performs the egg retrieval and embryo culture.
  2. Weigh public against privateGovernment co-funding for IVF applies only at public hospitals, so compare the price gap with waiting times and choice of doctor.
  3. Test both partners earlySemen analysis and ovarian reserve tests such as AMH are quick and often change the plan, so ask for a couple workup at the first visit.
  4. Ask what a cycle includesCheck whether medication, monitoring scans, embryo freezing, storage and later frozen transfers are in the quote or billed separately.

Frequently asked questions

How much does IVF cost in Singapore?

Costs vary widely between clinics and from one cycle to the next. The total depends on the medication dose, the number of monitoring visits, lab techniques such as ICSI or genetic testing, embryo freezing and storage, and whether a frozen transfer follows. Public hospitals cost less for eligible couples because of government co-funding, and MediSave can be used up to set limits.

Can single women freeze their eggs in Singapore?

Yes. Since July 2023, women within the age range set by the Ministry of Health can freeze their eggs for non-medical reasons, whatever their marital status. The frozen eggs can only be used later for IVF within a legal marriage.

Do I need a referral to see a fertility specialist?

Most private clinics accept appointments without a referral, while some IVF centres prefer a doctor's referral letter. Bring previous test results, scan reports and, if relevant, your partner's semen analysis to the first visit.
